For someone who doesn't wear dresses Lauren Hutton wears them very well. Wedding season is upon us and I have two friends tying the knot in the next few months. As more of a t-shirt and jeans type I don't have much of a wardrobe for these occasions so it's taken a bit of planning to pull together. I'm not sure if it's the same elsewhere but it feels more and more like it's become undesirable to dress up and I think it's a shame. For instance in Stockholm you don't want to be caught overdressed, not even at a wedding - it's much more preferable to be chic and understated. And if you know anything about Swedish weather then you know it's notoriously unpredictable and therefore almost all possible scenarios need to go into the decision making process. We're talking four seasons in one day or in the least three and yes, these are big life decisions- peach and bronze, pink and gold, ivory and lilac, all viable contenders. Though I'm thinking it may end up a mix of lilac, ivory and gold with flashes of nude, pun unintended.
